Mix Megapol Radio

Mix Megapol is one of Sweden’s largest private radio networks. It is controlled by Bauer Media Group, which also operates Rockklassiker.

Mix Megapol broadcasts on multiple FM frequencies across the country.

The station began in 1993 as Skärgårdsradion (Archipelago Radio), changed to Radio Megapol that same year, and in 1997 adopted the name Mix Megapol, with the slogan “Den perfekta mixen” (“The perfect mix”). Today, it is one of the most listened-to stations.

Mix Megapol offers a mix of contemporary pop and rock with classics from the 1980s to the present day. Its programming includes hits from artists such as ABBA (iconic Swedes!), Coldplay, U2, and also current Swedish hits from Molly Sandén and Miss Li. Its programming combines music with some spoken word programs.
