YourClassical Radio, from Minneapolis
YourClassical Radio is a classical music radio station of Minnesota Public Radio (MPR), with its flagship station at KSJN 99.5 FM in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its call sign is KSJN, and it is licensed to the Twin Cities region (Minneapolis-Saint Paul).
It began as WLOL-FM in 1957, a commercial Top 40 station, but MPR purchased it and relaunched it as KSJN on March 11 of that year, dedicating it to classical music. Its slogan is “The world’s most beautiful music.”
YourClassical Radio broadcasts classical music 24/7, from composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky, to modern and American works. It includes live programs and recordings from local orchestras such as the Minnesota Orchestra and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.
